How Bans happen in CS2
If you build up a history of player reports your gameplay can be sent for review to a valve employee where you can get a game ban from there.
How to Avoid Player Reports
There are 6 main things you can do to avoid getting reported in games, these include:
1. Gain hours legit
It is important to have a decent amount of hours on the game without cheating to understand how to play a proper competitive match, anywhere from 150-400 hours will work.
2. Do not look at people through walls
This should go without saying but do not look at players through walls, if you cannot do this maybe switch to radar hacks temporarily.
3. Always check angles(Even when you know the player isn’t there)
If you enter any site and just peek 1 angle where you know the enemy is and plant the bomb it looks very suspicious, no one has perfect gamesense.
4. Let yourself be caught off guard occasionally
To avoid suspicion you need to die sometimes because if people cant kill you, they are more likely to assume you are cheating, but do not make it obvious you are playing bad some rounds.
5. Make sure your aimbot is configured correctly
If your aimbot looks “snappy” or “too fast” or has too much FOV it will be very clear you are cheating regardless of amazing playstyle and thousands of hours put into the game.
6. How to respond to people accusing you of cheating
If an enemy in game is accusing you of cheating just type “lol” into the chat and move on, acting defensive and saying why you aren’t cheating makes you look like a cheater.
